Terms of service

1. The service

The service lets you sign in, upload capsules produced by the PatchArc tool, have them re-verified, and publish them as short links ("ArcLinks") with the visibility you choose. Some capabilities are marked as planned on this site; we do not guarantee when or whether they will ship.

2. Accounts

You sign in through a third-party identity provider. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials file private. Tell us promptly at security@patcharc.dev if you believe an account has been compromised.

3. Your content

Capsules you upload, and anything derived from them, remain yours. You grant Fahid Digital Ventures LLC a limited license to store, process, verify, and serve that content solely to provide the service to you and to anyone you share a link with. We do not use your content to train machine-learning models. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and for what you choose to make public.

4. Shared links

A public or capability link can be opened by anyone who has it. You are responsible for the visibility you choose and for revoking links you no longer want reachable. Links expire after a default period unless you change it. We may disable a link that violates these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• upload content that you do not have the right to share, or that is unlawful, infringing, or malicious;
• probe, scan, or attack the service, or attempt to access other accounts' data;
• send automated traffic beyond the published rate limits or interfere with the service's operation;
• resell the service or present it as your own.

6. Plans, billing, and early access

The Community plan is free. Prices shown for paid plans during early access are the terms that will apply when billing is switched on; nothing is charged until you subscribe. Paid plans, when available, renew until cancelled, and fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and may change these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and may ask us to delete your account and uploaded content (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Capsules on your own machines are unaffected by termination.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. A verified capsule means the capsule's contents match what was sealed; it is not a representation about the quality, safety, or correctness of the code it describes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fahid Digital Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
